In 2018 I was devastated. In a lot of pain. I found it incredibly hard to come to terms with what had happened to me. My friends rallied around me. They all encouraged me to do things that would calm me down and soothe me. Guess what – one of the things that calm me down, and I also really enjoy, is writing. So I started a blog. Here I am, still, with my blog. It starts round about the time my friends told me to “get back on the horse” and meet new guys. Not sure if that was the best advice, but I had just come out of a traumatising situation and well, I gave it a go. As I went along I figured I would start to write down my thoughts. This blog is the product of that. A lot of emotional pain, but also a bit of humour in between. Not many people read blogs nowadays but that’s not important to me. Writing still helps me and I update whenever I feel I have something of value to contribute, especially about dating apps.
